Curved beam generation and its experimental realization by rectangular prism with asymmetric polynomial back surface

Abstract With the discovery of self-accelerating beams, possibility obtaining curved light beams in free space has been realized. These special paved way for many new applications as well exploration novel beam types. Recently, great research effort conducted to realize different types such photonic hook and airy beam. are obtained by introducing structural asymmetry or applying non-uniform dielectric distribution input output face structure. this regard, we propose specially designed asymmetric structure with polynomial back surface which generates beams. Proposed lossless can generate at frequencies varying from 15.78 GHz 20.09 corresponding curvature angles minimum 41.34° maximum 57.58°, respectively. The physical background formation is based on interference exiting waves that diffract upper bottom surfaces provides phase modulation leading trajectory propagating light. In addition, observed steering effect further investigated experimental verification microwave region verify our design’s operation principle.

Novel multiarm DNA structures were designed using two-dimensional DNA origami scaffolds, and these structures were folded into hollow three-dimensional (3D) structures by introducing connection strands into the arms.
